Your body already knows how to heal.

My approach to breathwork is rooted in the same philosophy that guides my chiropractic care: the body is inherently intelligent and out greatest gift.

Healing is not something I create for another person. Rather, it is something I help create space for.

Our bodies are constantly adapting to our experiences. Stress, trauma, and the demands of everyday life can leave us living in protective patterns that disconnect us from our physiology, our emotions, and our innate capacity for healing. Breathwork offers a direct way to reconnect with those systems.

Conscious breathing influences the nervous system, increases our capacity to be present with sensation, and invites the body to shift from protection toward regulation and restoration. As we breathe with awareness, stored tension, suppressed emotion, and long-held patterns can begin to reorganize—not because we force change, but because the body is given the opportunity to do what it is designed to do.

Like chiropractic, breathwork is based on a
profound respect for innate intelligence.

I trust that beneath every adaptation is a system continually working toward balance. My role is not to diagnose your experience or determine what needs to happen. My role is to provide a safe, grounded environment where your own inner
wisdom can guide the process.

What to expect

Each session is unique because each person arrives with a different history, different physiology, and different needs. Rather than chasing a particular outcome, we work with what is present.

Sometimes that looks like deep relaxation. Sometimes it looks like emotional release. Sometimes it is simply reconnecting with the breath after years of living in survival mode.

For me, breathwork is both science and presence. It acknowledges the physiology of the nervous system while honoring the body’s remarkable ability to heal, adapt, and reorganize when given the right conditions. Every breath is an invitation to return to yourself—not to become someone new, but to uncover the health, resilience, beauty and wholeness that have always been there.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is the intentional use of conscious breathing to support your nervous system, increase self-awareness, and reconnect you with your body’s innate intelligence.

Our breath is one of the few functions in the body that is both automatic and voluntary. By changing the way we breathe, we can influence our physiology, creating opportunities for regulation, emotional processing, relaxation, and resilience.

Each session is unique because every body has its own story and its own wisdom.

Is breathwork safe?

For most people, breathwork is a safe and deeply supportive practice.

Before your session, we’ll review your health history together to determine whether any modifications are needed. Certain medical conditions, including some cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, or mental health conditions, may require adjustments or may not be appropriate for this style of breathwork.

Your safety and comfort are always the priority.

Do I need experience with meditation or breathwork?

Not at all.

Whether this is your first experience or you’ve been practicing for years, you’ll be guided every step of the way.

The only requirement is curiosity and a willingness to breathe.

Is breathwork a replacement for therapy or medical care?

No. Breathwork is a complementary practice that supports overall health and well-being. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical or mental health care.

Many people find that breathwork works beautifully alongside chiropractic care, psychotherapy, counselling, and other healthcare practices.

Who is breathwork for?

Breathwork is for anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves.

Whether you’re navigating chronic stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, or simply longing to feel more present in your body, breathwork offers a gentle and powerful invitation to slow down, breathe, and remember the wisdom that has always been within you.

How does breathwork work?

It can influence heart rate variability, oxygen-carbon dioxide balance, vagal tone, and stress hormone regulation. These shifts impact emotional processing, cognitive clarity, and physical tension patterns.

Can breathwork release emotions?

Yes. Emotions are not just psychological—they are physiological states held in patterns of breath, muscle tone, and nervous system activation. When breath patterns change, stored activation may surface as sensation, emotion, or memory.

Is it normal to feel physical sensations during breathwork?

Yes. Tingling, warmth, lightheadedness, or waves of emotion can occur as oxygenation, carbon dioxide levels, and nervous system tone shift. These are typically signs of the system reorganizing rather than something going wrong.

Will one breathwork session solve all my problems?

No. Breathwork is not a quick fix or a single intervention that resolves complex life patterns.

It is a practice.

Rather than “fixing” anything, breathwork supports the conditions for allowing, releasing, and remembering—allowing the nervous system to discharge stored activation, releasing held patterns of tension and emotion, and remembering the body’s natural capacity for regulation and coherence.

Change happens through repetition and relationship, not intensity. Each session is an opportunity for the system to reorganize a little more.
